a hint of spring.....

Hello there. That is my wishful thinking, that spring hurries up as then summer wouldn't be so far away. Having been home this week and having had a good dose of spring, this weather seems grayer than ever, more than 50 shades...... sorry I couldn't resist.

On this card I used the new fab cracked pistacchio distress stain from Tim Holtz. I love this new shade of green. I think it goes super well with blues and it was really needed.
So I used a piece of water colour card to create topper. I smeared cracked pistacchio and salty ocean distress stains and spritzed with water and picked up with card. I dried card in between applications and continued picking up colour until I was happy with background.
I stamped some flourishes on green side using fern green and library green archival ink.
The sentiment is stamped in hydrangea archival ink on the blue side.

I did the same on another piece of card using squeezed lemonade, mustard seed, tattered rose and spiced marmalade.
I stamped the scribbled flowers in 2 sizes with black archival ink and fussy cut the flowers. I added distress glitter to centres and some more sparkle with a clear wink of stella.
I attached the flowers as shown and matted on  pearlised navy paper.

All the stamps used here are from Hobby Art.

I hope you like my offer today, Theresa xx

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
