Hello there. I'm back with a card that I made some time ago. It was commissioned for a colleague who was going on maternity leave. But she never received it as someone spilled coffee all over it!
My brief was to use pink and bling. Now if you know me well you know i struggle with pink and I don't like a lot of bling on my projects.
So I went rummaging in my paper stash and found a nice piece of G45 to use for background. I covered it with double sided sticky sheet and covered it with micro beads for texture and sparkle. It is difficult to photograph though.
I used a trellis die from spellbinders and white card to add interest to background. I mounted it on the microbeaded paper and matted it onto black.
I then die cut some flourishes, leaves and asters. I assembled flowers and added a black pearl in the centres. I assembled them in the left hand corner and tucked leaves underneath.
It was then time to add bling which I added in the form of flourishes in black and clear.
On an 8x8 base card I stamped sentiment from Claritystamp in black archival ink and clear embossed.
I added the topper to base card.
So I hope you like my effort in pink, Theresa xx
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Fussy and fancy challenge - tic tac toe (sentiment, wet embossing, sparkle)also had die and pearls
Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge - add texture (micro beads)
