Hello my friends. I am very excited to be sharing this project with you as it is the first one on the Fussy and Fancy DT. This was a challenge that I participated in quite frequently and on a few occasions i made the top 5 and now I am part of the girls..... I am so chuffed.
Enough waffle and onto the card.
I started with a papermania 12x12 paper from their capsule collection which I folded in half and glued together. This gave me the base card. I then die cut it to get the 'fancy' folds. This is achievable without a die but is a bit fiddly.
The die also comes with dies for mats for all panels. So I die cut the rectangles in gold mirri and the scalloped ones in white centura pearl card.
On the central white mat I stamped the sentiment in versamark and embossed in detail gold powder. I matted and layered all the pieces as shown. Then i die cut some flourishes with a spellbinders die in gold mirri and arranged them as shown.
It was now time to add more embellishments. On the front panel I added some white tulle and a double bow in gold edged ribbon. The central rose is from Sweet lilac Flowers who is one of the sponsors this time. The 2 lilies are from my stash.
I also added some ribbon and a small rose from Sweet lilac Flowers to the sentiment panel.
So that is my first offering and I hope you like it and it offers some inspiration.
Go on then, join us in this challenge and don't forget to look at the Fussy and Fancy Challenge blog for more inspiration from my teamies.
I would like to enter the card in the following challenges:
Everybody art challenge - multi-fold card
Ladybug crafts: June challenge - use your dies
Inky impressions challenge - embellish it
