Today my offering is quite a straightforward card. I started with a 12x12 cm piece of centura pearl card. Using the seaweed stencil and distress inks I brushed dusty concord, seedless preserve, picked raspberry, tumbled glass and faded jeans onto the matte side of card.
I then stamped the Lavinia rose 3 times with versamark and embossed in black. I masked alternate leaves off to minimize overlapping. Using an embossing folder i embossed just lower end of card and added some black soot to embossed areas to highlight them.
I matted it on black and stuck it to 15x15 cm base card. Finally i added a purple bow to the roses and added some plum pearl pva dots to card.
I hope you like my make, Theresa xx.

DeleteLovely card Theresa. I really like the idea of embossing just part of the card. I have used that embossing folder as a background, but not considered only embossing part of the card. x
ReplyDeleteyes Sarah, just be careful where you align plates or you will emboss the whole background xx
