My mum's birthday card

Hello, my crafty friends. It is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. this week we are sponsored by Lawn Fawn designs. There is a $25 voucher up for grabs this week.

This card is inspired by Jennifer McGuire. Go check her blog it is a well of inspiration and techniques.

So, I had bought a couple of magazines as I like the freebies they came with. Everything I used here is from them. I really liked this flowery heart stamp and decided to use it for the focal point and the background. I stamped the 4 corners with the pointy end as you can see in the pic above. I used watering can archival ink on kraft card.

I stamped the whole image this time again with watering can archival ink and clear embossed it with wow powder. I then coloured it with Faber Castell polychromos pencils. Where I wanted the white to be more intense I went over it with a white uniball Signo pen.
I also added Tonic Nuvo drops for some added dimension.

Once the topper was finished, I fussy cut it and matted it onto white hint of gold Centura pearl card and fussy cut this as well. I added foam tape to the back for dimension. All I had left was to matt and layer the card and I used colours that matched the topper and made it pop. The coloured card is actually from a Lidl pack; they do it in 2 weights of paper and come in 25 colours per pack.

For the sentiment, I stamped with watering can archival onto the Centura pearl card and clear embossed. I then cut it with the banner die that came with the set. And then all I had left was to mount it all onto a kraft base card. And that is my mum's birthday card that is on the 2nd of Feb.

So happy crafting and don't forget to join us with your creations hugs Theresa xx

still christmas makes

Hello, my crafty friends. It is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. this week our sponsor is Hetty Clare.
The prize: 5 free images from the shop (the winner would have to contact sponsor by email).

I chose to work with an image called Postbox. I printed it on Sheena stamping card and coloured it with promarkers. I used Sakura glitter pens for the scarf and when I had finished colouring this I smudged it, hence the position of the sentiment.

I added glossy accents to the eyes, buttons and wellies. The patterned paper is from Sarah's Signature Winter Wonderland collection. I cut around the foliage thus creating a window behind which I placed the coloured image.
The sentiment was free with a magazine.

So now it is up to you to join us with your makes and remember that anything goes, hugs Theresa xx

happy new year 2019!

Happy New Year crafters! Today sees the start of another TTCRD anything goes challenge. We are sponsored by a company that I had never heard of but I must say that I enjoyed browsing their site. Now as this was before Christmas I chose tags to work with and printed on matte card it gave them a G45 feel.

The sponsor is Vectoria designs and I chose to work with Christmas tags.

The prize for this week is the designs that the DT chose to work with. The other 2 products are here below:

I had planned to alter the tags somewhat but when I saw them I decided to leave them unaltered as they were great as seen. So I decorated a white paper bag with washi tape and created a Christmas tree, added a candy stick and some ribbon and voila' I had the gifts wrapped and embellished in no time.

So do pop over to the Etsy shop and browse and maybe also buy something.

And I will see you over at TTCRD with your makes, hugs Theresa xx
