New York, New York

So I have made this card several months ago but I have been keeping it for some special blog. Anyway on the SSS Monday challenge blog the theme this week was to create anything with circles. I immediately thought of it, so here goes.

So this card was inspired by the TV show White Collar to which I am addicted. I have watched it several times. I used the New York skyline mask from Claritystamp and distress inks and framed it in a circle. The circle dies are the stitched circle ones by Sue Wilson.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge: Going round in circles

Happy crafting, Theresa xx

baroque square

Hello friends. It is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week our sponsor is Stamp on it and they are offering 3 digi images to the lucky winner.

I chose to work with an image called baroque square. I printed it on kraft card but wasn't sure it would work as I have never printed on kraft card before. I printed one large image and 4 smaller ones and made 2 cards.

I coloured the image using blue polychromos pencils and a white prisma pencil. I really enjoyed the colouring process and I think it added depth and perspective to the image, but I will leave the criticism or otherwise to you.

I used coconut white card and navy blue linen card to mat and layer. The square and scalloped square dies are from tonic as are the white Nuvo drops. The stamps are from Simon says stamp small words and sentiments.

And now over to you and remember that anything goes. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx

Classic

Welcome back my friends. it is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week we are sponsored by The Project Bin. I must say that the shop is worth a gander and there are some lovely stamps there for your perusal.
The prize is a $15 voucher.

I was sent a set of stamps called Classic man to work with and I was really chuffed with it. I needed a birthday card for the next door neighbour who is now 88 years young. So I combined the stamps with G45bpapers from the collection called a perfect gentleman. On a plainer piece of paper, I stamped the diamond background stamp from Simon Says Stamp with faded jeans distress oxide. I then stamped the car and sentiment in black archival ink and clear embossed. I die cut it with stitched circles by Crealis.

I finished it off with some glossy accents on the buttons and Tonic black Nuvo drops. And now my friends it is over to you and remember that the theme is always anything goes. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx.
