friends

Hello crafty friends and welcome to another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week we are sponsored by Wink Wink Ink.

I chose to work with this image as they reminded me of unlikely friends that get together because of circumstances. I used watercolour pencils and a water brush. I actually really liked the result I achieved here. I finished it off with a white posca pen and glossy accents.

So get crafting and share your make with us, remember anything goes, hugs Theresa xx.

Hello friends and welcome back to another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week our sponsor is the Paper Shelter and we were given this sundae image to work with.

I created a strip border with the pre-coloured image and printed a large outline image. I coloured it with promarkers and added glossy accents on cherry, choc sprinkles and glass. The sentiment is from JustRite. The dies are from Spellbinders.

bee happy

Hello, my crafty friends. Another Tuesday is here and so it is again time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge.

This week our sponsor is We Are 3 Digital Shop. We were asked to work with this bee set. I must say that the background papers are lovely and have a great colour scheme. I knew what I wanted to do as soon as I saw the papers.

So I printed out 4 of the ones I wanted and created the above card. The sentiment and beehive dies are from Sizzix by Tim Holtz. The stitched circle is by Crealis and the plain circle is tonic.
I used some black gems and clear sparkle pen and I was finished.

Now it is over to you. Don't forget to check out what my teammates have produced with the same set and while you're there link your projects. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx.

Hello crafty peeps. I have just realized that I'm late to the parade. It's time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge and this week our sponsor is Jeremiah Ketner who is offering a whopping 5 images of choice and 30% off any images from his Etsy site.

I chose to work with On my mind which you can find here. I love colouring in these images making them come to life. I coloured her in with Faber Castell polychromos pencils and added some highlights with a white Posca pen and some dimension with Tonic Nuvo drops.

For further inspiration hop over to the blog to see what my teamies produced. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx.

Sunflowers

Hello and welcome back to another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week we are sponsored by Sheepski designs and she is offering 3 images from her shop. I do love working with her images. They are very versatile.

I chose to work with a sunflower image that you can find here. I love sunflowers as I think they are such happy flowers. So all I did is printed them out and coloured them with Faber Castell polychromos pencils and added some white highlights.
For the background, I used a piece of Gelli print that was left over from another card and then stamped the word background with a Simon Says Stamp stamp. I used archival inks for stamping. Where the two joined I added a very thin strip of antique gold card. Some gems finished off the card.

So now it is over to you. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx.

bloom canvas

Hello there my friends. It is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week we are sponsored by Newton's Nook and I chose to work with one of their freebies called bloom.

I started by adding modelling paste through stencils and allowing it to dry. Then I painted the surface using watered down Deco Art acrylic paints and sprinkling with table salt. Once dry I removed the salt and mod podged the flowers onto the surface.

For the flowers, I printed the image several times in different sizes. Then I coloured them in with the deco art acrylics and then stamped over with a Simon says Stamp background stamp.

Finally, I added details with a black sharpie and a white posca pen. The black washi tape is made from masking tape painted black and stamped over with white.

So now it is over to you. Join us at TTCRD for a chance to win some goodies. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx

Orchid

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week we are sponsored by Morgan's Artworld and this is one of the images that comes in a pair called orchid and rose pair.

I had this image already and decided to use it again. I do love colouring in flowers. Once again I used Faber Castell polychromos pencils. The patterned paper is from a pad by The Works. I thought it went really well with this image.

And that is all about my card. Remember that our challenge is always anything goes and good luck. See you on the other side, Hugs Theresa xx.

sunflower for mother's day

Hello friends. It is time for another TTCRD challenge and as always it is anything goes. This week our sponsor is Stix2 anything
No photo description available.

So I decided to post the card I made for my mother on mother's day. The background is made by inking a piece of white card with antique linen, frayed burlap, vintage photo and gathered twigs distress oxides. I then stamped with AALL and Create stamps using gathered twigs, frayed burlap and vintage photo distress oxides. I then used stencils and squeezed lemonade, mustard seed, twisted citron distress oxides to add further details.

The sunflower is a Stampendous stamp that I coloured with polychromos Faber Castell pencils. It is mounted on foam squares and actually twists. I saw it on a video tutorial on Jennifer McGuire's blog here.
The dies are generic. I mounted 3 die cuts to add height and then went over with a clear wink of Stella pen.
And now it is over to you. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx.

New York, New York

So I have made this card several months ago but I have been keeping it for some special blog. Anyway on the SSS Monday challenge blog the theme this week was to create anything with circles. I immediately thought of it, so here goes.

So this card was inspired by the TV show White Collar to which I am addicted. I have watched it several times. I used the New York skyline mask from Claritystamp and distress inks and framed it in a circle. The circle dies are the stitched circle ones by Sue Wilson.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge: Going round in circles

Happy crafting, Theresa xx

baroque square

Hello friends. It is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week our sponsor is Stamp on it and they are offering 3 digi images to the lucky winner.

I chose to work with an image called baroque square. I printed it on kraft card but wasn't sure it would work as I have never printed on kraft card before. I printed one large image and 4 smaller ones and made 2 cards.

I coloured the image using blue polychromos pencils and a white prisma pencil. I really enjoyed the colouring process and I think it added depth and perspective to the image, but I will leave the criticism or otherwise to you.

I used coconut white card and navy blue linen card to mat and layer. The square and scalloped square dies are from tonic as are the white Nuvo drops. The stamps are from Simon says stamp small words and sentiments.

And now over to you and remember that anything goes. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx

Classic

Welcome back my friends. it is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week we are sponsored by The Project Bin. I must say that the shop is worth a gander and there are some lovely stamps there for your perusal.
The prize is a $15 voucher.

I was sent a set of stamps called Classic man to work with and I was really chuffed with it. I needed a birthday card for the next door neighbour who is now 88 years young. So I combined the stamps with G45bpapers from the collection called a perfect gentleman. On a plainer piece of paper, I stamped the diamond background stamp from Simon Says Stamp with faded jeans distress oxide. I then stamped the car and sentiment in black archival ink and clear embossed. I die cut it with stitched circles by Crealis.

I finished it off with some glossy accents on the buttons and Tonic black Nuvo drops. And now my friends it is over to you and remember that the theme is always anything goes. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx.

tulips...

Hello and welcome back to another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week we are sponsored by Sheepski designs. The prize is 3 digi images.

I chose to work with this beautiful bunch of tulips which you can find here. This image screamed Easter to me so I printed it twice and made 2 cards.

I used Faber Castell polychromos pencils to colour one and Spectrum noir pencils for the other. For the background, I used distress oxides and a water brush.

The sentiment is a Claritystamp Ltd one. I stamped in black archival and clear embossed the one, and versamarked and white embossed the other.

The patterned papers are from a 12x12 pad by The Works. I finished them off with some Nuvo drops in complimentary colours.

So now it is over to you and remember, anything goes. See you there, Theresa xx.

Friends

Hello, my friends and welcome back to another TTCRD anything goes challenge. Today our sponsor is Sparkle and SprinkleThey are offering a $15 voucher to their store.

I chose to work with the image called Nastrium which comes with the sentiment that is on the side. So I simply printed them out and then coloured in the image with Faber Castell polychromos pencils. I added some clear wink of stella to the flower centres and added some gems on the I's.
I coloured some more to turn into bookmarks but I didn't manage to finish them in time.

So now it is over to you. See you on the other side, Theresa xx
