coffee

So today sees the start of the last anything goes challenge of 2017 for TTCRD.

Our sponsors this week are Bugaboo Stamps and $12 voucher to the store is on offer! I chose to work with JJ Coffee. It was one of those moments that as soon as I saw the image I knew who the card I was making was for.

So I printed it off and used spectrum noir illustrator pens to colour it in. I added some glossy accents on glasses and tablet and a white gel pen for highlights. Matting an layering and some twine and the card was ready. And I got the seal of approval from her husband as well!

So please join us over at TTCRD. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx

Secret Santa

This week is the last FFFC for 2017. The theme is Christmas. I decided to showcase this candle. Once again we are having a Secret Santa at work and this is what I made for it.

Using g45 Christmas papers and Sheena Douglass perfect partners dies and stamps poinsettia I created the flower. I embossed in vintage mahogany.
The holly leaves are with heartfelt creations papers.

The candle is sprayed with Spray and Sparkle diamond pearl spray. Once dry I added hessian ribbon and lace and a pearl strand. I assembled the poinsettia and added it to candle along with the holly leaves and finished it off with pearl strands.

So I hope the recipient likes it. Don't forget to join us, hugs Theresa xx

Little blue button tags

Late on parade again! Hello crafty friends. These are my inspiration for this week's TTCRD challenge.

Our sponsor is Little Blue Button and she is offering $10 voucher to her store. I chose to work with Christmas tags.

I printed them on Sheena stamping card and fussy cut them. I then versamarked the snowflake, the baubles and candy canes and clear embossed. Some red and diamond stickles and small pearls finish them off.

With the above 2, I only added stickles in red, green and diamond. Below you can see what I used the tags for.

I decorated the bags using some double sided Christmas A3 Centura pearl card from Crafter's Companion and ribbon and then added the tags to the handles.
Below is a closer look.
Hugs, Theresa xx

robin

Hello fellow crafters. Today I have another CAS card on offer. It was supposed to be for last week's LIM challenge, but as my SD card on the phone was full I couldn't take any pics. So here it is for this week's challenge.

I started with a kraft card and cut out the snowflake flourish (Memory box) on the lower half to represent snow-covered ground. I coated the fall out pieces with the clear sparkle pen to add some shimmer. I stuck these on the upper part of the card to represent the falling snow. I added platinum stickles glitter glue to the centre of the snowflakes.

Then I die cut the robin (sizzix) several times from different coloured cardstock. I inked the pieces with gathered twigs distress inks and assembled the bird. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment (Just Rite) and added glossy accents to the robin's eye.

Cinema

Hello, I'm posting again and this time it is to remind you that another TTCRD challenge is starting with the usual theme of anything goes.

This week we are sponsored by Mari digis digital stamps.

The lucky winner will get one of the images that the DT chose to work with. This will be chosen by Maria Emilia.

The image I chose to work with is called B42 Cinema. I fell in love with the sad look in both their eyes and had to colour this image. I must say I really enjoyed the process.
So now it is over to you. Remember that anything goes so anything you make can be posted in our challenge, hugs Theresa xx

thanks

Well on Friday it was the start of another FFFC and this week I am hosting it. I have been so disorganised that I first forgot to post a photo of the card on the main blog and then I never blogged the card. So I am trying to rectify.

To make this card I used a Tim Holtz stamp which I stamped in versamark and embossed in black. I always associate this month with Thanksgiving and hence the link for me.

The image is one that I had won in some challenge. I really loved it an enjoyed colouring it with promarkers.
The ribbon and wooden leaves are from a roll of ribbon I got from Lidl and the patterned paper is from a stack of papers from The Works.

So I hope you will join us with your makes that are related to the theme. see you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx.

hark the herald angels sing

Hello there. I have found some time for a quick post. Once again this was inspired by the LIM challenge. The technique I learnt at Pauline Butcher's workshop this weekend.

For this to work it is important to have a stamping platform and that the card is butted up tightly to the edge so that when the script is overstamped it remains crisp.
I used salty ocean, mustard seed and picked raspberry distress ink, stamped and spritzed. Once dry I overstamped with same colours.

I dried it well and used an antistatic bag over it. I stamped angel in black archival and clear embossed. I coloured in trumpet with gold sparkle pen and used the clear one on the wings. So easy but very effective.
So once again I hope I left enough white space, hugs, Theresa xx.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Christmas Sentiments

Hello my crafty friends. It is Tuesday once again and so time for the anything goes challenge over at TTCRD.

This week we are sponsored by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.

The lucky winner will get 2 images of their choosing from the store.

I did go to town and decided to use 3 of the sentiments and create 3 cards. It gave me a chance to use the gel pens and also to use some neglected dies.

All I used then was some nice card, ribbon and embellishments and glues to make the pearls.
So I hope you find some time to join us in this week's challenge, hugs, Theresa xx.

stars

Hello, my crafty friends. Today I have another CAS card on offer. This was once again inspired by The LIM challenge.

I thought of this Crafter's Companion die and decided to try it out. So I die cut it on the base card. The card needed lifting so I decided to add some embossed stamping in ivory. The stamps are designs by Chloe that came with Creative Stamping magazine.

It was still lacking something so I added some diamond stickles which gave it a nice sparkle that is difficult to photograph. Let me know what you think, hugs Theresa xx
