blue and lime

Hello my friends. I have a quick post today. These 2 cards were inspired by the theme over at LIM challenge.

The theme was blue and lime. So out came the leaf green and cobalt brushos and sprinkled some on 2 areas of watercolour card. I spritzed it and wiped it with kitchen roll and left to dry.

I die cut this funky Christmas tree out of each patch. The die is from sizzix.
I then cut 2 pieces of white card and stamped the sentiment in black archival ink. I then embossed with Leonie Pujol's snowfall embossing folder.

I used foam pads to attach embossed card to base card and then stuck the trees down. I added green gems to the blue tree and blue gems to the green tree. And voila' 2 more done, albeit in unconventional colours, hugs, Theresa xx.

I would like to enter these cards in the following challenges:

Simply less is more - lime green and royal blue
Happy little stampers Christmas challenge - anything goes, optional twist sparkle
Happy little stampers September watercolour challenge - anything goes, optional twist spritz (I did spritz the card before i die cut)

  1. These trees are so lovely and bright Theresa and a great idea to colour the card with the Brushos and then die cut. I love the falling snow embossing in the background and some pretty gems too. x
