Today's offering is a tag. When I was reading about the new challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge this time it was to create something with paste. now this is not something i have used much of before but i thought it would be great to give it a go. The one on the clarity blog is flowers so i combined the two together.
So I got out one of the large Tim Holtz tags in black card and the roses stencil from Clarity stamp and used white dreamweaver paste. I lifted the stencil carefully and scttered Tim Holtz distress glitters over image.
For the flowers i used victorian velvet and seedless preserve and for the leaves and swirls I used peeled paint and shabby shutters.
Then i realized that the background looked quite bare and decided to use chalk board techniue and using the music stamp and feminine both from Clarity stamp I stamped them randomly in white adirondak. Then I inked edges with same white and I also dragged inkpad across to help create more of a black board background.
I then stamped the sentiment again from Clarity stamp and embossed it in tarnished rose from Stampendous.
I added a metal charm from my stash in opposite corner and then added some ribbon, fibres and twine again from my stash.
I hope you like my make and would appreciate any comments.
I would like to enter this into the Simon says stamp monday challenge - paste
and into the Clarity stamp blog challenge - flower power
