I bought this stamp a couple of months ago and had been wanting to use it. It is a just-rite stamp and i think it is called french rose. Finally i received the spectrum noir blending pencils and thought that this stamp would be perfect to try them out. Hubby got them for me as a Valentine's pressie (which for once is very useful), and he let me have them as soon as he got them.
So I stamped it with potting soil archival ink on ivory card. I stamped it a few times as i wanted to decoupage some of the roses. i inked around first layer with distress ink to antique the paper a bit more.
I used several pinks and 3 purples and 3 greens to colour in the flowers and leaves. I must say i was impressed with the pencils. they are very soft.
So I cut various layers and built up flowers and finally added glossy accents to mimic dew drops. I matted on brown and then on ivory which I pierced all around. I monted it on a5 ivory base card.
I stamped happy birthday in potting soil archival and heat embossed in clear. I added some chocolate cosmic shimmer pva dots around 2 corners and finished it off with a twine bow.

Sunday stamper - diamonds my interpretation is that the dew drops look like iamonds when they glisten in the sun.
