Well my friends today's offering is from Indigo Blu. Their blog challenge this month is about gilding flakes and as i was rummaging through my stamps I came across this flower corner that was calling out for gilding flakes.
So I stamped it with glue on a piece of white card and gilded it with Lancashire Rose flakes. I stamped it twice more in potting soil archival ink and clear embossed. I coloured the flowers using victorian velvet, picked raspberry and seedless preserve distress inks. I fussy cut the flowers and shaped them with an embossing tool. I stuck 4 of them over the gilded flowers.
I stamped sentiment in potting soil archival ink. I matted and layered the topper and stuck it to front of an easel card.
Next I cut a strip of brown card and stamped the small flourish, that really matches the larger image, in glue and flaked it again. I attached the remaining flowers on opposite end. I matted it on pink and stuck it down to inside of card to act as stopper for easel.
Well i hope that you like my make and if you could spare a min please do leave me a comment, Theresa xx
I would like to enter this card into the Indigo blu challenge - going for gold
