valentines and fussy and fancy challenge

So the fussy and fancy challenge that launched today is be my valentine. As i had this card ready i thought it would be good for this challenge.

I started by creating background on gelliplate using a clarity stencil  which was an NDC stencil. This time i used adirondak inks and stencil brushes on plate. I think I used wild plum and raisin. The first layer is all done in wild plum. Then I added some extra bits that came with stencil and using raisin brushed all over again thus creating light and dark areas as you can see from picture.
Next I stamped love in black archival and clear embossed. This is from the birdcage set lesson 10 .

Then it was time for some embellishments and felt that the Sweetlilac flowers fit the bill perfectly. I also added some leaves and some pink pearl needlehead pins. A bow from my ribbon stash finished off the bouquet.
I mounted print on 8x8 black base card. That is all for today. i hope you like it, Theresa xx
