Well this time the fussy and fancy challenge is a sketch that you can see below.
I challenged myself to create this in one layer. So out came the gelli plate, acrylic paints and stencils and after 4 tries i managed to create this print.
Those that are quite savvy about the gelli plate will realize that this was done by pulling different prints one after the other and a lot of masking. Some inking around edges helped to make layers more defined.
Next I added a sentiment from Clarity stamp in black archival and clear embossed.
Then it was time to add top embellishment and i turned to my trusty Sweet lilac flowers and found some that matched the colour scheme perfectly. I added some pearl swrls and a little heart charm as you can see below.
As I felt that the embellishments were a bit top heavy I added few small flowers in the opposite corner to balance it. I matted it on a black 8x8 base card and i was finished.
