CAS and designer papers

Hello my friends. I'm back again this week with a CAS card. Since I have discovered the LIM challenge I do try to participate as often as i can. I am learning that sometimes it is more difficult to create these cards than the more fancy ones - at least it takes more thought for me.

This week the ask was to use designer papers and I decided to use soem HOTP papers that I have had for years. They were from a kit that I had bought from QVC.
I chose 2 co-ordinating papers and a sentiment from the same pack.

I decided to do some stamping. I used my second favourite stamp from Claritystamp, matrix feather. I used squeezed lemonade and peacock feathers and stamped 2 large images and 2 small images on the base card.
Using the same stamps and this time dandelion and forget-me-not archival ink, i stamped on shrink plastic.

Once I had cut them out and shrunk them, I assembled the card as shown. Below is the inside if the card.
I would love to read your thoughts, Theresa xx

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Simply less is more - lucky dip: designer paper
Word Art Wednesday - anything goes
CASology - move (feathers floating and make up wings that help in movement)

  1. This is very pretty Theresa and I love the colours in the dp you have used and the way you have echoed it with the background stamping with the feathers. I agree with you that CAS cards take more thought but this is great! x

  6. Loving the matching frame and strip below, lovely clean lines too. I too used to buy tonnes from QVC and still have lots of papers knocking about left over from kits, I think I have the same HOTP pad!
    Thanks for sharing with us.
