a bit of plaid

Well on my journeys through blogland, I came across this challenge that had plaid as a theme. So off I went rummaging through my papers to see if anything inspired me.

I came across these papers from HOTP and I had to make something with them. So I die cut the Gillian die by Sue Wilson in purple and matted it on yellow.

I die cut the sentiment from the same  pack with a Tonic circle and inked it with squeezed lemonade while still in die. I added peacock feathers and wink of stella to the highlighted words. I also added some shading underneath these words as you can see below.

I finished the inside of the card as below. Somehow when i look at this card it makes me smile, it feels like a ray of sunshine. Do you agree? hugs Theresa xx

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

  1. Plaid is one of my most favourite things and this blue is glorious Theresa and the lovely sentiment works well with the two cicular die cuts. x
