As you might be aware over at Simon Says Stamp there is a new challenge that starts every Monday and this time it is tick tock. It was left up to us to decide how to incorporate time in the piece presented.
Well i decided to go for 2 versions; one being a gone by era and the other a clock. So out came my free stamps from creative stamper magazine issue 14 and Kaisercraft papers ( again! i hear you moan). On a piece of taupe card I stamped the gentleman in potting soil archival ink. I coloured his trousers, shoes, hat and face with distress markers. I then stamped him twice on tan paper and paper pieced his coat. I stamped cogs from same set all around edges and inked it to distress.I added glossy accents to hat, shoes and gloves.
I matted on various papers from the pack, added some twine a cog and a couple of ideology pieces one of which was a clock. The sentiment was stamped again on taupe card with potting soil archival and cut out with a fancy tag 2 from spellbinders. I inked it while still in die.
I inked all around a base card to tone it in. Finished card is 7x7. I hope you like my make and if not too much bother leave me a comment to let me know what you think, Theresa xx
I would like to enter this card in the SSS Monday challenge - tick tock
