Well hello crafters. It's that time of the month again when a new Sweet lilac flowers challenge is launched. This time the theme is spring.
I knew what I wanted to do but didn't have the appropriate stamp for it. So i looked for an image i liked off the internet and printed it out. I cut it out to make it 3-D and stuck it on background card. By the way i made that background by squidging inks on my craft mat - peacock feathers, mustard seed and weathered wood - spritzing them with water and swooshed the blank card through it.
I then proceeded to fill the basket with gorgeous flowers in spring colors from Sweet lilac flowers. When I was happy with the layout i stuck them down . I stamped sentiment from Claritystamp in black archival and clear embossed it.
I tied some matching ribbon from my stash around basket handle and across background and added another flower at one end.
I matted it onto corresponding colours and stuck it to an A5 white base card. I hope you like my make and that you will join us over at Sweet lilac challenge and don't forget that for the winner there will be a hamper of flowers waiting to be shipped out. Theresa xx
