autumn colurs

Hello there. you must be fed up of me this week. I made this card this weekend and really loved how it turned out.

I started with a 13x13 cm piece of white card and a moon mask. I cut hills out of copy paper and masked lower part of sky while i coloured in the sky.

I used scattered straw, wild honey, barn door, fired brick, seedless preserves and dusty concord. I removed moon mask and added scattered straw and mustard seed. I added streaks of mustard seed to represent rays radiating from sun.

Then I masked off sky and worked on hills. I used antique linen, old paper, tea dye, rusty hinge and brushed corduroy Distress inks. Then i added greens: shabby shutters, peeled paint and forest moss with a make up sponge and the copy paper using the darker colours to the forefront.

I then stamped silhouettes in black archival ink using first, second and even third generation ink. All the stamps used are from Lavinia. The edge around the card is the outer edge of the hanging vines stamp.

I stamped the tumbling leaves and then continued the trail of falling leaves by using a couple of the leaves from hanging vines stamp.

I added some black spots and used black diamond stickles glue over them.

Some matting and layering and the card was finished.

As usual i do hope you like my make, Theresa xx

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:
