New York, New York

So I have made this card several months ago but I have been keeping it for some special blog. Anyway on the SSS Monday challenge blog the theme this week was to create anything with circles. I immediately thought of it, so here goes.

So this card was inspired by the TV show White Collar to which I am addicted. I have watched it several times. I used the New York skyline mask from Claritystamp and distress inks and framed it in a circle. The circle dies are the stitched circle ones by Sue Wilson.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge: Going round in circles

Happy crafting, Theresa xx

baroque square

Hello friends. It is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week our sponsor is Stamp on it and they are offering 3 digi images to the lucky winner.

I chose to work with an image called baroque square. I printed it on kraft card but wasn't sure it would work as I have never printed on kraft card before. I printed one large image and 4 smaller ones and made 2 cards.

I coloured the image using blue polychromos pencils and a white prisma pencil. I really enjoyed the colouring process and I think it added depth and perspective to the image, but I will leave the criticism or otherwise to you.

I used coconut white card and navy blue linen card to mat and layer. The square and scalloped square dies are from tonic as are the white Nuvo drops. The stamps are from Simon says stamp small words and sentiments.

And now over to you and remember that anything goes. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx

Classic

Welcome back my friends. it is time for another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week we are sponsored by The Project Bin. I must say that the shop is worth a gander and there are some lovely stamps there for your perusal.
The prize is a $15 voucher.

I was sent a set of stamps called Classic man to work with and I was really chuffed with it. I needed a birthday card for the next door neighbour who is now 88 years young. So I combined the stamps with G45bpapers from the collection called a perfect gentleman. On a plainer piece of paper, I stamped the diamond background stamp from Simon Says Stamp with faded jeans distress oxide. I then stamped the car and sentiment in black archival ink and clear embossed. I die cut it with stitched circles by Crealis.

I finished it off with some glossy accents on the buttons and Tonic black Nuvo drops. And now my friends it is over to you and remember that the theme is always anything goes. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx.

tulips...

Hello and welcome back to another TTCRD anything goes challenge. This week we are sponsored by Sheepski designs. The prize is 3 digi images.

I chose to work with this beautiful bunch of tulips which you can find here. This image screamed Easter to me so I printed it twice and made 2 cards.

I used Faber Castell polychromos pencils to colour one and Spectrum noir pencils for the other. For the background, I used distress oxides and a water brush.

The sentiment is a Claritystamp Ltd one. I stamped in black archival and clear embossed the one, and versamarked and white embossed the other.

The patterned papers are from a 12x12 pad by The Works. I finished them off with some Nuvo drops in complimentary colours.

So now it is over to you and remember, anything goes. See you there, Theresa xx.

Friends

Hello, my friends and welcome back to another TTCRD anything goes challenge. Today our sponsor is Sparkle and SprinkleThey are offering a $15 voucher to their store.

I chose to work with the image called Nastrium which comes with the sentiment that is on the side. So I simply printed them out and then coloured in the image with Faber Castell polychromos pencils. I added some clear wink of stella to the flower centres and added some gems on the I's.
I coloured some more to turn into bookmarks but I didn't manage to finish them in time.

So now it is over to you. See you on the other side, Theresa xx

more Easter

Hello there crafters and welcome back to another TTCRD anything goes challenge.

This week we are sponsored by Createful Heart Designs. They are offering the 4 digi images that the DT worked with as a prize. I chose to work with 2 images as I really liked them both. Since I have used another of the images about I haven't put a sentiment on it yet and so I haven't included it here.

The first image I used is called Easter Cross. I printed it on Neenah smooth white card and coloured it in with promarkers. I deliberately didn't colour the roses red as I felt it was appropriate to use the softer tones here.

The second image is called Florals set of 3. Again it is printed on Neenah card and coloured with promarkers. I actually rotated the image and formed a wreath with it, so it housed the sentiment in the centre.

For both images, I then die cut them and matted them on plain card and then onto patterned paper which is from a 12x12 pad from The Works. I also added Nuvo drops.
The sentiment is a generic one. I die cut each one 3 times and stacked them for added dimension. Then I went over with a clear Wink of Stella and once dry covered them in glossy accents.

For further inspiration please go to TTCRD to see what my teammates have created. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx

Easter...

Hello there my crafty friends. You must be wondering what is going on. Blogged twice in as many weeks!!! Well, it so happens that over at TTCRD it was Team B's turn again to offer inspiration for this week.

Our sponsor this time are Gecko Galz Studio. I picked the image to work with this time and I went for a set of silhouettes called Charming silhouette stamps

This is a great set and really worth having as it caters for so many occasions. I really was inspired by it and went to town creating cards. I have 2 more in the making...

I printed the images on printable acetate and so the images here are flipped horizontally. I then used distress oxide inks to colour them from the back and assembled them in the ways shown below.

This card is different in that it is a shaker card. So I did not colour the image but instead put patterned paper behind the aperture. I then put some sequins in for the shaker element.

The sentiments have all been created in the same way. I die cut each sentiment 3 times and stacked them together so they sat proud on the card. I then went over them with a clear Wink of Stella pen and after sticking them down I added glossy accents for the added dimension.

For further inspiration as to what you can create with this set please visit TTCRD to see what my teamies have come up with. please remeber that our challenge is always anything goes, so get crafting. See you on the other side, hugs Theresa xx.
