Adeline

Hello there. I'm back with my inspiration for the TTCRD anything goes challenge.

This week we are sponsored by Nikki Burnette who is offering the lucky winner 3 digital images from her shop.

I chose to work with the image called Adeline.  I loved the way it flowed, there is a lot of movement in the picture.

I coloured her in with polychromos, Faber Castell pencils. this time I tried to keep the number of pencils to a minimum, creating depth by the contrast of light and dark. The swirl behind her is coloured with a light blue sparkle pen from Crafter's Companion. In real life, there is a lot of shimmer that is really difficult to picture.

For some reason, I pictured her surrounded by twigs. So I die cut several twigs and leaves out of different coloured cardstock. The dies for twigs and leaves are all from Tim Holtz thinlet collections. The double stitched ovals are by Sue Wilson.

I thought it would make a lovely card for an 18th and so I die cut the numbers out of card that had been gilded with gilding flakes.

So for further inspiration just hop onto the main blog where you can see what the rest of my teamies have created. See you on the other side, Theresa xx.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Simon says stamp Monday challenge - shimmer and shine (mirror card, gilded card and                                                                                                                                                  sparkle pen)
