CAS peace

Hello my friends. today I'm back with another CAS card. This is the card that I made with the waste from a gelli print.

A few days ago I had a gelli plate session and when I was making the prints I decided that the waste was too nice to waste. So I got a piece of 6x6 G45 and used it to pull the waste.

I was very pleased with the design so i decided to make a card with it. I didn't think it was too fancy so I decided to use it for the current challenge over at Claritystamp blog challenge.

Above is the original print from which I got the 'waste'. The technique is fully explained on Barbara Gray's blog so I am not going to go into it.

 I simply matted the topper on pearlescent navy blue paper and then onto another piece of card that i had gilded. I finished it off with some pearls.
I must say that the pics don't do it justice and it looks so much better in real life.
i hope you like it, Theresa xx.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Claritystamp challenge - clean and simple
Word art Wednesday - anything goes

  10. A beautiful card, and as I call it - something from nothing! (Said the same about my winter warmer soup today, made from the contents of the veggie rack!) It would have been such a waste to ditch the print!
    Thanks for taking part in this month's Clarity Challenge. ;~}
